Leadership Engagement Graduation Academic Connections Youth (LEGACY)

LEGACY is a group of community leaders determined to address the needs of youth in El Paso in effort to increase graduation rates and reduce truancy rates.

ABOUT THE COALITION

In 2011, individuals respresenting education, government agencies, faith-based organizations, youth agencies, health providers, and other non-profit organizations, as well as residents and parents have joined together to increase graduation rates and reduce truancy rates through the Northeast Coalition. Its popularity across the city led UWEPC to transition it to LEGACY, a farther reaching coalition that strives to support education and youth initiatives across the county.
