Public Sector Campaigns

Another important role our United Way undertakes in our community is serving as the contracted manager and fiscal agent for the following employee charitable campaigns:

• Federal employees in twelve (12) counties in Texas and New Mexico, including Ft. Bliss and White Sands Missile Range. (Also referred to as Sun County Combined Federal Campaign-CFC.)
• State employees in seven (7) Texas counties, including UTEP and Texas Tech. (Also referred to as State Employees' Charitable Campaign-SECC.)
• City of El Paso employees
• County of El Paso employees

Employees in these campaigns must designate their contributions. Contributions from these employees are forwarded to local (including United Way of El Paso County, our member agencies and non-United Way member agencies), state, national and international agencies as designated by the donor.

Each agency receiving contributions from these campaigns is charged a proportional administration cost.
