Bid on a Limited Edition Buffalo Trace Bourbon Bottle



The United Way of El Paso County invites supporters to bid on a bottle of bourbon produced by the oldest continuously operating distillery in the U.S., Buffalo Trace Distillery. The bottle derives from the 6 millionth barrel and packaged in 1 of 400 special designer bottles. 

Proceeds from the winning bid will go directly to United Way’s Community Impact Fund, which currently funds more than 45 much needed programs in the areas of education, health, basic need and financial stability that support families and children.  

About the Buffalo Trace Distillery 

Located in Frankfort, Kentucky – 30 miles or so east of Louisville

Over the year, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been known by several names including the George T. Staff distillery.  Buffalo Trace was introduced in August 1999.  This is the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States.  Buffalo Trace refers to an ancient buffalo crossing on the banks of the Kentucky River in Franklin County, Kentucky.

About Bottle 173 

Only 400 special designer bottles were made from Buffalo Trace's 6 millionth barrel.  These were made available to non-profit groups for the purpose of fundraising. United Way of El Paso has Bottle 173.
