Last December, the United Way led efforts to develop an out-of-school time (OST) network to support the collaboration and communication among organizations focused on engaging disconnected youth (ages 7-18) in the Paso del Norte Region. With a full year of progress on its development, United Way hosted a celebration on Tues., Dec. 6, 2016. Guests included professionals and individuals working to engage youth in healthy OST programs. The event focused on giving these individuals a chance to network and participate in self-care activities to encourage a healthy lifestyle at work and at home. The event also featured an unveiling of the branded BOOST (Borderland Out-of-School Time) Network logo.
