COMMUNITY IMPACT DEPARTMENT

 

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT LIASON VISTA

 

The liason will build the capacity of community outreach and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to serve more El Pasoans in need.  The Community Development Liaison will focus on neighborhood outreach strategies to promote the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and ancillary services such as youth activities and the GECU food pantry. Learn more.

 

 

AMERICORPS PARENTS AS TEACHER EDUCATOR, FIRST YEAR 

 

 The PAT AmeriCorps Member contributes to the achievement of United Way of El Paso County’s mission, vision, goals within the education impact area by addressing early childhood education. It is the responsibility of the AmeriCorps PAT Parent Educator to successfully implement the Parents as Teachers program, an evidence-based early childhood home visitation framework that builds strong communities, thriving families and children who are healthy, safe and ready to learn. Learn more.
