UWEPC helps individuals and families in El Paso with household incomes of $66,000 or less to save money and hassle by filing their tax returns through MyFreeTaxes.com or at a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site.
ABOUT MYFREETAXES
The online tool allows taxpayers to self-file for free using a simple step-by-step process that includes free telephone, email and online chat support from IRS-certified specialists. The availability of the free online tax preparation services will coincide with the IRS tax season start. MyFreeTaxes.com can be used from anywhere on any secure desktop or mobile device.
MyFreeTaxes also provides qualifying filers access to tax coaches for in-person, self-preparation assistance. Among those who will provide support are high school students who receive accreditation to become volunteer income tax assisters at the sites.
