On November 15th, will you join us in being moment-makers?

It’s the season of giving, so we ask you: what would you give to help your neighbor? A child? A family?

In just one brief moment, a child, a family or an individual's life can change- for better or for worse. When it comes to the latter, United Way of El Paso County believes we all have the power to be moment-makers, providing hope in even the most dire of predicaments. Moment-makers are community members investing in the lives of others, because they know that when we help one person, we help all.

But we cannot do it alone.

Our work and your support gives us the ability to connect community members to opportunities focused on action to ensure they thrive- at every stage in life. This includes the moment a child rises to the top of his class after using an online reading program launched by United Way's Grade Level Reading Initiative and the moment families find hope during a crisis through relief programs and services supported by United Way. Whether we are building children’s personal libraries at year-round book distributions, offering a home visitation program that focuses on child development and school readiness at no-cost through Parents as Teachers, or engaging and empowering our region’s rising young leaders, United Way of El Paso County is dedicated to creating moments that change lives. By investing in more than 50 diverse programs from a network of 25 local agencies, UWEPC is creating moments that change futures.

In the midst of the season of giving is the amazing opportunity to support nonprofits, such as ours, during El Paso Giving Day on November 15th. By participating in El Paso Giving Day, you are buying in on the UWEPC big picture: prepared youth, healthy futures, thriving adults & families, and crisis support. And it’s so simple, you can donate by visiting our campaign page here https://www.elpasogivingday.org/organizations/united-way-of-el-paso-county . All donations are secure and tax deductible.

So we ask you, on November 15th and beyond, will you join us in being moment-makers?

For El Paso.

For our future.
