United Way of El Paso County has received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, the highest rating awarded by the organization! We’re proud to have received such a high honor from a well-known organization dedicated to helping individuals and corporations make well-informed decisions about the donations they make.

With a four-star rating, our United Way has demonstrated exceptional stability, efficiency, and sustainability and has maintained a high level of financial health. In awarding their star rating, Charity Navigator professionals evaluate the ways in which our United Way tracks accountability, how transparent we are with our policies, and how we ensure good governance and integrity of our organization. They accomplish this by analyzing important numbers from an organization’s tax forms over the past three years, highlighting crucial factors such as fundraising efficiency, expenses, assets and more.

Charity Navigator is the go-to resource for donors to make informed decisions about the organizations to which they contribute. Through high-level reporting, the organization awards ratings to nonprofits throughout the country to help ensure and evaluate financial accountability when managing and distributing donor dollars. Because of our superior rating, you can rest assured that when you make a donation to our United Way, your dollars stay local and support local, helping El Pasoans in need at times when they need it most.

Our United Way is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of our community, from ensuring children have access to educational resources and services to partnering with local and national agencies to aid the health and financial stability of all El Pasoans. Through our Community Impact Fund, we lead and fund critical programs providing support to El Pasoans, something that our donors help make possible each and every day. We’re proud to have been awarded this rating and to continue our work of supporting the city we call home.
