(El Paso, TX) – The United Way of El Paso County (UWEPC) is pleased to announce the return of ENGAGE, their signature event that showcases young talent in the borderland and beyond, while providing them the tools needed to grow their careers. ENGAGE will be hosted at the El Paso Convention Center on April 10, 2025 from 10:30AM-5:00PM. The theme for this year’s summit is “Identity, Impact, Influence” and will focus on personal storytelling, growing your brand, and influencing impactful change in your community.
Now in its 9th year, ENGAGE has become a meeting ground for young professionals across all industries to grow their professional circles, hear from local social and economic powerhouses, and build their career-growth toolbox. Past speakers have included Bob Moore (Founder and CEO, El Paso Matters), Karla Martinez (Editor in Chief, Vogue Mexico and Latin America), Commissioner Maria-Elena Giner, Patrick Gabaldon (Local Artist), and many more.
This year’s theme, “Identity, Impact, Influence,” explores how leveraging your story and branding empowers meaningful personal and professional growth while positively impacting the broader community. The summit will feature a panel of talented local change and tastemakers in the region. Full panel announcement coming soon.
Additionally there will be opportunities to connect through purposeful workshops and activities throughout the day. The event will feature a United Way Young Leaders Society Happy Hour directly after the event, giving more time to connect. The Young Leaders Society inspires and engages the next generation of philanthropic and civic-minded leaders in the community they call home.
